Welcome to our little corner of the Internet, where nature and science come together to make hair care that’s good for you and the planet! We’re so happy to have you. While you’re here, allow us to tell you about ourselves.
It all started in Parma, Italy, in 1983. What began as a husband-wife pair formulating hair care in their garage became Davines, a brand breaking ground in sustainable beauty. The name is a combination of letters from the names of founders Gianni and Silvana Bollati’s two children, Davide and Stefania. By 1993, the first products labeled Davines were sold for professional use.
It wasn’t long before the little family-run brand from Parma became an international name, opening offices in cities around the world. Despite its tremendous growth, Davines stayed true to its values. The family continued seeking harmony between science and nature, and Davines’ chemists made a passion out of that pursuit.
When the term “sustainable beauty” entered the lexicon in the early 2000s, we were already ahead of the trend. Through the years, we have gone deeper and deeper down the path of sustainability, partnering with local farmers, obtaining B Corp certification, and, now, doing revolutionary research at our very own education and research lab, the European Regenerative Organic Center (EROC).
Today, Davines is the haircare division of the Davines Group, an international company that also includes [ comfort zone ] skincare brand. Despite our expansion, we remain rooted in our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and professional excellence.

Davide leads Davines with a strong commitment to ethics and sustainability, and he is actively involved in the regenerative agriculture movement.
Leading the company alongside Davide is Anthony Molet. Over 12 years, Anthony made North America a key market for the brand as the CEO of Davines North America. Since 2020, he has been the CEO of Davines Group international.
But through all the growth, Davines has remained a family. Only now, our family extends to 880 people across 89 countries. Today, we have nine offices worldwide, from Parma to Paris, New York, Mexico City, Shanghai, and beyond.

OurHome
We are headquartered at Davines Village in Parma, Italy where it all started. Our village is homey, taking design elements from typical rural Italian dwellings, yet spacious. The complex covers about 11,000 square meters and features a Scientific Garden where we grow a vast variety of aromatic, medicinal, tinting, and perfumed plants. In the words of our president, “The Scientific Garden gives us the possibility of having direct contact with nature and its infinite resources. Plants are a source of study and inspiration for our daily and future work.”
